FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Do I have to pay for parking at the venue?

    We will have a parking lot available at the location and it's free for the event!

  • Is there going to be a cash or open bar?

    Our wedding will be an open bar. That being said, please bring tip money, if interested, in support of our bartenders and staff!

  • What's the dress attire?

    Semi-Formal is our dress code. Our colors are black, neutral tones, and gold accents. We request to not wear white (per tradition).

  • What kind of ceremony will this be?

    This will be a Non-Denominational Christian Ceremony and should take around 30 minutes.

  • When do we need to RSVP by?

    Please RSVP by September 1st. This will allow us to prepare the seating chart in-advance!

  • Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?

    Either will work! We will be monitoring both, so please choose either based on your convenience!

  • Will the wedding be outdoors?

    For the most part no, between the ceremony and the reception. With that being said, there are some garden areas outside the building for photo opportunities!

  • Have you reserved blocks of rooms or courtesy rooms at a hotel?

    We have reserved courtesy rooms for the wedding, please click here to access them if interested!**


    **Please note that the courtesy rooms are available at a first-come, first-served basis. If you are looking for other hotel options, we have others listed on our Hotels page!

  • What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

    Please arrive at 4 PM at The Olmsted in Louisville, KY

  • Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

    While we would love to invite everyone we've had the joy of meeting, we have a capped amount of people to invite. Please reach out via the contact form below if you have any questions on this, or have a related question, and we'll be happy to reply!

  • Is the venue Wheelchair accessible?

    Yes! There is a ramp available to the venue for those who need one!

  • What is the easiest way to get to and from the venue?

    A map is available on our venue page. However, you can click on this link for directions!

  • Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel(s)?

    While there will be no shuttle available to nor from the venue, Uber and Lyft rides are both readily available throughout the city of Lousiville.

  • Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

    There will be a Cocktail Hour between the ceremony and dinner portion of the reception. Hors D'oeuvres will be available during this time, along with a variety of beverages! 

  • Am I allowed to bring my children?

    To give all our guests the opportunity to celebrate without having to worry about little eyes and ears, we politely request no children under the age of 13 years old.

  • Do you have any suggestions to eat, drink, and visit while I am in town for your wedding?

    Yes! We have pages available for those traveling in Louisville this time of year, including hotels, restaurants, and things to do!
